Info on cleansing

I have been doing some research on cleansing. Many people do it to quickly shed those pounds but in no way is that healthy if you are only juicing. I am honestly looking into it because i want to rid my body of all the toxins and impurities without dying in the process lol.



Before you start a cleanse remember to PREPARE PREPARE PREPARE!!!!!
This is definitely something your body is not used to and you have to be smart in doing this because if done wrong can cause some medical problems and we wouldn't want that.

The more prepared you are before your cleanse, the smoother your transition will be. This means a few days leading up to your cleanse, cut down on all those delicious indulgences we love to love and phase out: the coffee, the sugar, the meat and the dairy, and add fresh fruit, greens and veggies at every meal.

3 Days before – If you eat meat, you should phase it out now - lightly steamed or poached fish, with veggies and a salad of course!
2 Days before - Green salads should be your staple at this point. If you’re craving some more sustenance, you may choose a bit of plain brown rice, or a yam or sweet potato.
1 Day before - Raw or lightly steamed vegetables, e.g. spinach, broccoli; try and avoid the more starchy veggies like carrots, beets, squash etc. You may also have a raw green leafy salad with some vegetables.

The Benifits:
When you feel better on the inside, you look better on the outside. Glowing skin, bright eyes, the disappearance of hard-to-lose pounds, as well as a newfound sense of optimism and enjoyment of life, are all common results of juice cleansing.
